Gordana Khan.
Name after Alexander Haughton Campbell Gardner, an eccentric Scottish American. Who became a soldier of fortune in Afghanistan. Commanding one hundred and eighty Afghan horsemen for the nephew of Dost Mohammed Kahn in insurrection against his
aforementioned uncle and ruler of Kabul.
Gardner was famous for cladding himself from head to boot in traditional Afghan turban and robes, all of which were tartan! The sporran is named after him as its shares his Scottish and eastern influences. He’d have chosen this one...perhaps?
