This design is inspired by a highland friend who loves to collect Oak leaves. He tells me this is because each Oak leaf you find is individually different, for this reason each leaf of the cantle is unique in shape.

Oak leaf cantle cut from Ox horn, acorn finials cast in Edinburgh , hand made  metallic tassels made in the shape of acorns and rare Cumbrian cashmere goat hide, tanned in the Western Isles of Scotland.

This design is now exclusive to a Highland clan Chief. The Chiefs family is the only one in Europe to have Oak leafs as the mantling on their heraldry.

The sporran is made from leather tanned using vegetable extract rather than chemicals. The colour is inspired by antique military examples which are red. The lining of the sporran are in green suede. The sporran has credit card slots and a pocket for small change.

Each sporran comes with a grosgrain and leather belt, finished with brass buckle and tip. This grosgrain is the same material traditionally used on lapels of dinner jackets.

All sporrans are made in the British Isles.
